Hello, I am Farrah Tayob (MIACP) based in Dublin 2.  I operate out of The Therapy Centre, Dublin 2. I see clients both face to face and online.  I work with children, adolescents and adults. My therapeutic approach is centred towards the individual person holistically.  I collaborate with the client, working as a team to create change, empowerment and fulfilment.

My approach to treatment is very much guided by the person who walks through the door. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all form of therapy and the direction the treatment will take will be informed by the relationship between therapist and client. I use an integrative approach that involves humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive therapy mindfulness and Internal Family Systems ; whatever I feel best suits the individual client’s needs. While in session, I try to create a safe and non-judgemental space where my clients can explore what is going on for them in the moment. We then work together to make the changes they wish to see in their lives.

I hold a Professional Diploma & Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University & I am fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP).

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapy and am currently doing a Masters Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.

I work with clients who are experiencing anything from self esteem issues to anxiety to depression, anger to bullying, relationship issues & everything in between.

I have a special interest in how maladaptive patterns carry on from childhood into the present day. I have interest in the healing relationships that we hold with our pets, nature, special interests and others.
