Get to Know Me

Welcome – I’m Farrah Tayob (MIACP)
I'm a fully accredited psychotherapist based in Harold’s Cross/Terenure (Dublin 6W). I work with children, adolescents, and adults, offering sessions both in person and online to suit each client’s needs.
My approach is holistic and person-centred, with a strong emphasis on collaboration. I believe therapy works best when it’s a shared journey—one where we work together to create meaningful change, build self-awareness, and foster personal empowerment.
There is no one-size-fits-all in therapy. Each person is unique, and the direction our work takes is guided by your individual experiences and the therapeutic relationship we build together. I draw from a range of approaches—including humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive therapy, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—depending on what best supports your needs.
Qualifications & Training
I hold a Professional Diploma and Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, and I am a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP).
I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapy and am currently completing a Master’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapy.
